Why buildings kill cellular signal
Modern buildings — energy-efficient glass, concrete, and metal — are great for insulation and terrible for cellular signal. A Distributed Antenna System (DAS) or signal booster fixes indoor dead zones.
How it works
- Donor antenna — mounted outside, captures the carrier signal.
- BDA / booster — amplifies the signal (bi-directional).
- Distribution — splitters and cabling carry it inside.
- Indoor antennas — re-broadcast coverage where people work.
